My preference by far is to use bathroom sink water for flushing, for the exact reason that you've mentioned.  It tends to have much less organic matter, and thus be less prone to smelling.  It's also much easier in the sense that you don't have to move it more than a few feet (in most bathrooms).

Did y'all use bathroom sink water at the greenhaus?  Did you use any of the water outside?  Can't remember, it's been a while.

Anywho, that house was definitely an inspiration for this post!</description>

		<description>one draw back that i found doing this at a house i used to live at was that the dish water could get kinda stinky when left in the toilet, since it will not flush the water away completely (some is left in the bowl.)  so cleaning the dishes off first is very important..but otherwise any suggestions?</description>
