At first I was really skeptical about the efficacy of these funny milk-jugs, but it looks like they're working pretty well.  The maker found a hose fitting that threaded onto the milkjug (1" female hose fitting to half inch male barb, perhaps?!).  So the 'caps' of the milk jugs flow right into old garden hose or solid 1/2 irrigation pipe with very small perforations for a slow, low-pressure drip-feed.  Nothing too fancy, but a unique innovation for a unique garden.</description>
