For anyone folks who has thought or said “I want to practice Permaculture, but I don’t have any land,” the Permaculture for Renters workshop will provide a packed toolbox of strategies and methods that can be used anywhere: in tiny side-yards, indoors, on balconies and rooftops, and even while traveling!
Over the two day intensive, participants will come together with diverse members of their community to engage their heads and hands in learning a wide-range of useful concepts and techniques that they can integrate into their lives no matter who they are or where they live.

About the Instructor
Leonard Barrett is a landscape designer, educator, and renter based in Portland, OR. Through his firm, Barrett Ecological Services, he has created permaculture-infused landscapes for such clients as Nike, Pacific University, and dozens of homeowners, small businesses, and farms in the Portland area. A life-long renter, this workshop is an expression of his passion for Permaculture and devotion to making sustainable lifestyles accessible to the landless.
